Announcement: Beaver Area High School Alumni and friends are raising money to build a new flag plaza in Gypsy Glen Stadium. http://www.basd.k12.pa.us/news/documents/RaisetheFlag.pdf As you sit in the cement bleachers (facing Vanport), the plaza will be on the right side of the field. There will be a 40' pole for the American flag, flanked by two smaller poles which will fly the Beaver Bobcat flag and the Pennsylvania State flag. We have raised $10,000, we need $20,000. Individual contributions are being accepted and appreciated. Every $10 helps. On your check memo, please put your maiden name and class year. We are also selling engraved bricks to be part of the flag plaza. Each 4" x 8" brick will cost $50. Up to three lines per brick, 13 characters per line (this includes spaces and punctuation). Please make sure that your information is spelled correctly. Bricks must be purchased by 12/31/09.
